You can both subscribe and purchase SmartBeauty, SmartGym, SmartFactory and SmartClinic. The only software that works with subscription only is SmartRest.

- How much do updates cost?

Updates are free.

- Do I pay extra charge for adding a user?

No, you only pay the service fee, no additional fees.
